The Spring Meadow Guest House is located on a historic 144-acre farm. The guest house is nestled between the 1840’s main house and barn. If you love the atmosphere of a B. & B. but cherish the privacy of your own home this place is for you. You won't have to share a common room, or watch something on tv you don't like. You wont have to share a bathroom or the breakfast table with people you don't know. But you will have a beautiful setting to relax in with just the people you want there. Surrounded by old farm buildings of a by gone era. Relax on the screened in back porch and listen to the birds , look in the fields for the deer, rabbit or even an occasional groundhog. The sweet serenity of an old farm is hard to beat. But you will also really enjoy the the inside of the house. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The house is decorated in a very folky style with antiques and folk art. Simple country pleasures abound everywhere. The guest house has all the amenities of home. You will only need to bring your clothes and food if you wish to cook. There is even a gas grill, just off the back porch for your use. Lie on the hammock or have a bon fire in the fire pit. For indoor relaxing you may watch cable TV with a DVD/VCR combo. There are also several games you may want to play and books to read. You may also want to visit my antique and folk art shop. Or drive through the covered bridge right down the road. The Guest House would be a perfect place for a wedding party to gather. Or lodging accommodations for the parents of the bride or groom. The surroundings are a lovely backdrop for photographs. We are just a few minutes from heartland hall , if you're wedding reception was there we are very conveniently located.

It is easy to find, just off rt. 56, between I-99 and Rt. 96 and just 10 minutes from the turnpike. The guesthouse is wonderfully located; 15 minutes from Shawnee state park, Blue Knob state park, or downtown Bedford. Johnstown or Altoona is 30 minutes away and both have items of interest. There are several antique shops near by including my own. We are on one of the bike routes, just down the road from 2 covered bridges. A mile from trout fishing at Bob's creek. The state fish hatchery is across the street. Two state parks are very close and multiple museums. Come and relax and enjoy picturesque Bedford County.
